Title of position: Management information systems (MIS) analyst
Terms of employment: Full-time year-round work
Duties:
• Confer with clients to identify and document requirements
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and implement information systems business solutions
• Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and overall quality of software products and information systems
• Provide advice on information systems strategies, policies, management, and service delivery
• Conduct business and technical studies, model system testing
• Participate in project and operational team meetings representing the interests and needs of business unit as required
• Message mapping for cross-platform data exchange involving EDIs, XMLs, IDOCs
• Analyze B2C requirements, develop and implement solutions accordingly
Wages: $38.50/hr based on 40 hrs a week
Location of work: Langley, BC
Language: Must be fluent in English

Job Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in systems analysis, data administration, software engineering, network design, or computer programming are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
