**URGENT-Cost Accountant**
An Experienced Candidate with have 2-4+ years involved with:
- Complying with all environmental, health, safety, and quality standards
- Initiating or suggesting ideas for cost control for all departments based on financial data and support
- Working closely with the production team to review monthly production costs
- Performing month end production costing procedure and closing journals and account reconciliations
- Maintaining and update actual costing system
- Daily and monthly accounting posts relating to operational and manufacturing costs
- Documenting financial transactions by entering account information
- Assisting in the preparation and finalization of monthly/yearly financial reports
- GAAP, FASB, JSOX rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
- Compiling and analyzing cost account information to reconcile financial discrepancies.
A Qualified Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or an equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cost accounting software
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Highly detail-oriented
Important to Know:
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
