Job Description: A Visiting Research Assistant Professor position is available in the Department of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine. Job duties include the maintenance and differentiation of pluripotent stem cells, optimization and standardization of stem cell differentiation protocols, the development of novel stem cell lines using genome editing tools and the differentiation of stem cells to generate organoids. This is a hands-on lab-based role at the forefront of iPSC technology. The ideal applicant should have extensive prior experience with mammalian iPSC differentiation. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree with experience in designing and performing mammalian stem cell experiments as well as well as molecular biology expertise such as using real time PCR and gene silencing (siRNA or shRNA).
