Overnight Medical Research Assistant Job

Medical Research Assistants will monitor activities of study participants, handle human biological samples and record data. Responsibilities also include taking vital signs, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, height/weight, and monitoring meals. We are seeking employees who can commit to working a minimum of 30+hours per week, with weekend availability. Excellent training is provided. Previous medical experience is preferred, but not required.

This is an overnight position, scheduled to work shifts occurring 10PM-6:30AM. An overnight pay differential of 10% is paid. Initial training will be scheduled from 2PM-10:30PM for the first month, before migrating to the regular overnight shift time.



Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses:

• High school diploma or GED


• Post high school education in life sciences or medical training preferred


• CPR certification preferred


• Experience in accurate documentation of data preferred


• Must be 18 years of age


• Spanish-English bilingual fluency is preferred, but not required.
  
  This is a part-time, benefitted role which works 30+ hours per week. Weekend availability is required.
  
  Please note:
  

• This position is scheduled to work overnight on 10PM- 6:30AM shifts (3rd Shift)


• This position will start work on July 5, 2022.


• Paid training occurs in the initial 4weeks, scheduled from 2PM-10:30PM.


• Once training concludes, the regular work schedule is 30+ hours per week. working a regular schedule of SAT-TUES or TUES-FRI.
