Position: Carpenter
Number of job vacancies: 1
Working Hours: 8 hrs per day, 40hrs per week
Wage: $28.85 per hour
Benefits: Extended medical insurance after 3months probation period.

Main duties:
• Read and interpret drawings and sketches, and to understand project specifications
• Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. metal) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, rot repairs, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
• Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
Job Requirements:
• 2+ years of previous work experience in carpentry
• Familiar with carpentry tools, knows how to use them safely.
• Must be able to work under physically demanding condition in cold weather
• Attention to details
• Must have tools and safety gears such as safety glasses
