Job Description:
Supply Chain Manager with MS degree in Supply Chain Management or related field and 2 years of experience in supply chain management wanted by Ecopax, LLC in Easton, PA to develop and lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon key performance metrics; analyze data and information gathered to improve efficiency and performance; develop and implement procedures to evaluate and select suppliers; monitor the performance of suppliers and manage VMI programs to reduce obsolete inventory; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments; negotiate terms with suppliers for highest quality at best prices to achieve cost reduction KPI; lead monthly inventory count and periodic inventory audit, and perform inventory analysis to improve cashflow and reduce stockout; implement WMS to increase inventory accuracy, improve shipping efficiency, and provide product traceability; apply production and inventory management knowledge to manage inventory turns and material waste and coordinate with sales team to establish forecast for production schedule and raw material planning; establish process for returning defective or unwanted products for shipping and logistics; use ERP and MRP with production planners to forecast demand and create supply plans of finished goods and raw materials to ensure availability of products for customer orders; works directly with sales and customer service department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
