Job Description:
LEAD SOFTWARE DEVELOPER: Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of technology-driven software solutions for the company’s proprietary Smart software products. Gather and analyze requirements for applications and develop appropriate and innovative software design solutions using a variety of web-based software development tools and languages. Create technical and functional designs and specifications and prepare reports to inform management of the software process. Perform activities throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, build processes, testing, and operations. Develop applications using a variety of web-based technologies and development languages including Microsoft.NET, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, XML, Xpath, SOAP, REST, and Microsoft WCF. Develop information tables and implement the database to allow the business layer to interact with the data later of the application. Create dashboards using Tableau and Power BI and retrieve, query, store, and manipulate interface screens using LINQ. Monitor application functionality to identify potential problems and test and debug applications to ensure their quality and performance. Perform updates, repairs, and enhancements of existing application functionalities to increase operational efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Develop improvements and upgrades, design additional applications, and configure more efficient components. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends to ensure optimal performance and effective applications development.
Job Requirements:
Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. This may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, SQL Server 2008/2012, and Entity Framework, XHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and TFS Source Control, Microsoft .Net core, MVC3, EF, HTML, JQuery, CSS, WCF, and LINQ.
