Job Description:
Applicants need to take responsibilities below:
1. Teach technique, interpretation and music theory to students through private or group lessons
2. Inspire students’ love for music and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning
3. Prepare lesson plans, define teaching objectives and formulate the lesson curriculum; Advise students on program curricula
4. Administer and conduct an active choral program; Provide individual and group vocal coaching
5. Make periodic examination plan to correct the deficiency of students' skills in a timely manner
6. Collect, sort and archive teaching materials; Manage the use of instruments and teaching equipment
7. Organize students to participate in internal or external performances and various school activities
8. Coordinate and direct major activities involving all choirs ensembles
9. Comfortable dealing with kids and parents, discussing achievements and expectations
10. Organized and committed, with a professional appearance
Job Requirements:
Applicants are required to have:
1. Musical training from a university or college or through private instruction is usually required.
2. At least 5 years of teaching experience in subjects of Music or Art is required.
3. Enthusiasm about music and love working with young children.
4. Experience working with children aged 4 years - 12 years old in a classroom setting is an asset.
5. Professional, mature, warm, patient and nurturing.
6. Be able to take initiative and work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Strong communication skills.
