The Data and Analytics Strategist will work directly with the Global CADO to assist in defining the future vision for Data and Analytics, and the planning and execution of this vision. This will include development of Technology objectives, vision, long-range and strategy plans, and identification of the organization strengths and weaknesses including competitor reviews.

The Data and Analytics Strategist will be responsible for the crafting of priorities and ensuring proper alignment across a wide body of stakeholders, driving key strategic initiatives, and building cross-functional organizational initiatives.

As Data and Analytics Strategist at Kimberly-Clark, you’ll work with directly with technology leadership and have exposure to c-level leaders within the organization. You’ll help drive solutions delivering indispensable every-day products to over 1.3 billion people across more than 80 countries. You’ll collaborate on a wide range of topics and gain exposure to a wide range of functions across finance, operations, marketing, and HR. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from many senior leaders and experts across ML/D&A, research, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

-Partner with business and technology leaders to help solve Kimberly-Clark’s most difficult challenges, transform mindsets, unlock capabilities, and map the path to the next normal

-Develop compelling insights and recommendations through quantitative and qualitative analysis

-In collaboration with the various teams within CDO Org, corporate strategy and other senior leadership, manage and implement the planning process for CDO strategic initiatives

-Manages proper tracking, reporting, and communication of the technology operational plan that stems from the technology strategic plan as well as key technology initiatives to senior management

-Collaborate with the CDO and the Technology leadership team on key initiatives to design, lead and implement special projects

-Supporting the technology vision and strategic pillars - fostering the spirit of people development, collaboration and continuous improvement

-Implement special projects and initiatives across all elements of technology

-Works with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and linkage to the Technology Strategy

-Creating and monitoring strategic metrics to support assessment of progress against the Data and Analytics Strategy, Vision, and overall Technology Operations

Job Requirements:

-BA/BS degree of equivalent practical experience

-A minimum of 5 years of work experience at least 2 years’ experience in management consulting, previous chief of staff role, or strategic problem-solving role in startup leadership required

-Demonstrated experience and understanding of CPG and/or technology, eCommerce and industry dynamics

-Strong proficiency in PowerPoint required, Thinkcell is a plus

Skills / Other Personal Attributes:

-Excellent story telling skills, with power point presentations skills.

-Ability to simplify complex topics and present to executives in simple business terms (reducing technology complexity into simple terms).

-Excellent written and verbal communications including content creation through various mediums

-Strong self-starter with an ability to navigate successfully through ambiguity to provide recommendations on project direction

-Strong work ethic with flexibility and adaptability to change

-Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working independently and driving own initiatives

-Intellectual agility – the ability to learn and act on new information quickly and efficiently

-Able to motivate others and obtain buy-in across all levels of the organization
