Job Description:
CBM Press Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and experienced Event Coordinator to join our high paced Magazine Publishing &Event Company in the field of education and multicultural entertainment.
Position: Theatre Designer (NOC 5243 – B)
Hours: Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)
Hourly Wage: $26.44~$27(Depends on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Benefits: Dental Insurance will be applied after 3 months’ probationary period
Working location: #400-609 W. Hastings St. Vancouver BC, V6B 4W4
Primary Service of Business: Magazine Publishing and Entertainment Service
MAIN DUTIES:
• Design and create settings, scenic environments, properties, costumes and lighting for theatre, film and video productions, operas and ballets
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A university degree in fine arts or visual arts with specialization in theatre design, clothing design or exhibit design
• Creative ability, as demonstrated by a portfolio of work, is required.
• Minimum2 years of work experience as a theatre designer is usually required.
• Theatre designers may specialize in costume, lighting or set design
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; attention to details and excellent organizational skills required
• Ability to work with team members and manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines
