Job Description:
 Business Development Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieves sales and profit goals for the region.
- Presents Company to customers by providing product, pricing, literature, clinical evaluations and general sales support.
- Follows corporate sales policies and procedures for pricing, quotations, product configuration and discounting.
- Effectively utilizes clinical application support and interacts with customer service and other support personnel throughout the Company. Maintains an accurate, up-to-date sales track database and provides management with sales forecasts, competitive information, and lost business analysis.
- Manages territory expenses.
- Generates sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites and other sources
- Travels to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Assists in investigating and resolving customer problems with deliveries.
- Attends trade shows.
- Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
- Other duties as required
Skills/Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree preferred. High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
- 5 years' experience in medical capital equipment sales; will consider a combination of relevant sales experience and pulmonary function expertise.
- PFT, RRT, metabolic or exercise physiology background a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, communication skills and presentation skills required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Self-motivated and efficient with time management.
