Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Completion of a full time training program in care of the elderly for at least 6 months or 1 year to less than 2 years experience
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks
Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Room and board provided
Personal Suitability: Reliability

Specific Skills:
· Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, grooming and dressing.
· Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication.
· Ensuring the client’s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place.
· Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
· Help in escorting the client to medical and other appointments or attend virtual appointments with senior.
