Job Description:
Our family is in search of a reliable and experienced housekeeper, for a Full-Time position who able to handle the dynamics of a household. Our location is on Mississauga, Ontario. We hope the housekeeper will be someone who has a strong commitment to this job and, with excellent organization and communication skills.
The housekeeper will be working on 35 hours per week at a rate of $18.00 per hour. Overtime rate will be paid after 44 hours a week. The position is available immediately.
Job Duties:
◦ Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of household);
◦ Perform daily housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, washing floors;
◦ Maintain cares for fine furnishings, fixtures, fabrics, and surfaces;
◦ Launder clothing and household linens, ironing and steaming as needed;
◦ Wardrobe management, packing and unpacking;
◦ Monitor household inventory;
◦ Shop for food and household supplies;
◦ Prepare and serve nutritious meals;
◦ Make beds and change sheets;
◦ Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
◦ Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Housekeeper or in a relevant field;
◦ Experience in dealing with children would be an asset but not mandatory required;
◦ Secondary school diploma;
◦ First Aid/CPR Certificate preferred;
◦ Availability to work overtime upon request;
◦ Weight handling up to 23Kg (50lbs).
