Job Description:
• Cleaning the area to prepare food as per the law and company standards.
• Preparing ingredients such as cutting vegetables, chopping meat etc.
• Monitor the quality of ingredients before cooking.
• Checking the stock of ingredients and place an order in case of any shortage,
• Preparing food as per the specification of customers and before the arrival of guests.
• Adjusting food according to the demands of clients keeping in mind their allergies and diet concerns.
• Assisting other cooks while preparing meals.
• Cooking using different appliances like oven, fryers, blender, grill etc.
• Garnishing order before serving.
• Taking orders from wait staff or computerised system.
• Storing the food properly.
• Cleaning up the workstation at the end of the shift.
