Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide authorized services to individuals served and to ensure that delivery of services is efficient, effective and within the guidelines set by DHS and the agency.
Maintains accountability for assigned or scheduled hours, and schedules time off with approval from Supervisor.
Provides flexibility with schedule as needed or assigned by supervisor, may be required to work evenings and weekends.
Represents professionalism while in the community, with appearance and interactions.
Travels regularly in the community, transports clients in personal vehicle, and assists with transfers of clients as needed.
Attends all scheduled meetings including staff meetings, and consultation meetings with Positive Support Professional.
Maintains control during an escalated or hostile situation involving clients or family members.
Maintains a reliable passenger vehicle for use in performing job.
Maintains valid driver’s license and proof of insurance coverage.
Maintains continual internet access to ensure timely email communication.
Maintains a cell phone that allows for professional communication w/ clients and teams.
Complies with any and all other job duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Meets minimal DHS qualifications for Positive Support Analyst
4-year Degree in a related field preferred
Valid Driver’s license, with proof of insurance
Motor Vehicle Record clearance / Insurable Driver
Clearance of a Criminal Background Study
