is looking for a BC Regional Operations Manager
Permanent, full-time position
Compensation: $90,000 CAD annually (approx. $43.27 CAD per/hour)
Requirements for the position:
• Experience: 3-5 years of work experience as a senior manager / department manager / regional manager or in a similar position is required;
• Education: completion of a 2-3 year college program is required. A bachelor's degree would be an asset;
• Language: English, excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Organize, manage, control and evaluate company's operations in BC, establish and implement growth strategies in the region;
• Formulate, determine and implement objectives and policies of the company in BC, oversee timelines and schedules;
• Manage and co-ordinate recruitment strategy, communication and training strategies, workforce planning and forecasting;
• Select and supervise middle managers, appoint to positions in different departments and co-ordinate their work;
• Establish financial and administrative controls, create and oversee company's budget in BC and optimize expenses;
• Represent the company, meet with corporate clients to discuss new requirements, specifications, schedules and timelines, negotiate and sign new contracts in BC;
• Analyze accounting and financial data, evaluate performance and productivity, improve company's revenue in the region;
• Report to National Operations Manager, work closely in conjunction with a board of directors.
Summary:
BC Regional Operations Manager in our company is a top-level manager who is responsible for general leadership, organization, and oversight (through middle managers) of the company’s operations in BC; organizing and co-ordinating work of departments, developing and implementing service strategy, approving overall personnel planning and selecting senior staff positions.
