Job Description:
Wetware is software that is intended to help screenwriters complete content creation more efficiently using AI technology. Wetware Studio Inc. is looking for a Chief Technology Officer to develop and lead the overall vision and strategy for all technical aspects of our business and provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be in charge of all company technology and technological resources. You will establish company technology vision, strategies, and plans for growth.
Job Responsibilities:
• Establish financial and administrative controls; work closely with the founding CEO to define the product vision and technical strategy and ultimately drive the execution of this vision
• Leading the technology team in their day-to-day operations, supervising the team members and setting performance goals
• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals and conducting technical reviews of products and solutions to evaluate their applicability
• Developing, tracking, and controlling the development of annual capital and operating budgets for purchasing equipment, staffing, and ensuring effective operations
• Working closely with the marketing, product development, and operations team to deliver the products
• Build and lead a passionate software developing team to continually develop the product in alignment with the broader strategy and vision
• Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
• A minimum 3 years of combined experience in software development and entrepreneurship or senior managerial role in one or more information and communication technology companies
• Experience in seeking financing from venture capital firms
• Experience documenting term sheets for venture capital firms
• Software programming skills in react-typescript web development, cloud, CDN, Terraform and Kubernetes development, network protocol, relational database, PostgreSQL, horizontal and vertical scaling, and algorithm including GNU diff-patch, Myer's diff-patch, and operational transformation)
• Demonstrated ability to supervise employees
• Accurate, Organized, Effective interpersonal skills, Judgement
• Ability to work under a fast-paced environment, work under pressure with tight deadlines, and attention to detail
Salary:
Annual salary $118,300.00 (35 hours per week and 52 weeks per annum)
