Cleaning Supervisor (6315)

Hours: 35 Hours / week
Salary: $27.00 per Hour

Work Site: At various locations in lower mainland area.
Employment Terms Options: Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.
Job Duties:
• Supervise and co-ordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
• Hire and train cleaning staff
• Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with those of other departments
• Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
• May perform certain cleaning duties.
Ability to Supervise:
3 – 4 People
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
Employment requirements:
• Completion of secondary school.
• Previous experience of 6 months or more in a particular area of cleaning is required.
Job is open and available to Seniors, Veterans of Canadian Armed forces, Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, indigenous persons, youth & immigrants.
Candidate should be eligible to work in Canada.
