Responsible for sourcing new business through existing referral bases, centers of influence, and cold calling when necessary.
Build a portfolio and manage it through maintaining regular contact, including participating in periodic site visits to assess the customer's financial health, checking collateral condition, and identifying relationship issues and/or cross-selling opportunities.
Participate in the underwriting of the credits by working closely with analysts and other groups within the organization to maintain the accounts in good standing. This includes leading the credit memo process through loan structuring and credit underwriting, presenting credit to the loan committee when necessary, closing the loans, and making sure payments are received in a timely manner.
Achieve sales and production goals to increase commercial loan business.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
