*This position will be based in Irvine, CA, and temporarily eligible for Work from Home. When our office reopens, you will be required to work from the office Monday-Friday.

What you will be doing:

The Ecommerce Analyst will use data to do extraordinary things. An aspiring analyst with a quantitative background who has a strong desire to make an impact on business decisions with data. Able to critically and creatively think through business objectives to solve problems using technical skills and thinking as the ecommerce customer to extract data points. This person will be responsible for supervising and reporting the day-to-day ecommerce analytics and overall ecommerce customer experience for our digital footprints and website and will play a key role in defining the direction of the online shopping experience from both a design and content perspective.

  • Lead the analytics infrastructure, monitoring all key digital analytics, and providing insights for and digital channels.
  • Work cross functionally to develop and execute analytical reporting and analytics capabilities to drive ecommerce strategy aligning with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Drive insights and discovery by using site analytics, site testing, surveys, and website heatmaps and behavior analytics tools.
  • Run internal and external relationships with all ecommerce partners and collaborate with team members on campaigns and events to ensure success.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, a high aptitude for problem solving, and a natural interest in consumer behavior
  • Ability to think critically and creatively in the application of quantitative analysis to business problems and present findings to all levels of an organization
  • Proactive and innovative, flexible in a multidimensional environment, remains calm under pressure
  • A passion for constantly understanding the key performance indicators behind projects, benchmarks and building Performa’s to weigh the success/learning’s of initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years data analysis experience in a marketing, retail, or ecommerce position
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as marketing, mathematics/statistics, economics, technology, information management, business intelligence, or data mining
  • Managing GTM/GA tags and data layers as well as analytical skills utilizing Google Analytics and other analytical software
  • Familiar with sophisticated statistical analysis and research methodologies, online survey tools and syndicated data sources
  • Master of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint and Access with advanced skills handling and reporting data in such environments as Excel
  • Managerial knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for QA tracking configuration
  • Understanding of retail financial analysis (i.e., profit calculations, return on investment) and statistical methods such as lifetime value studies, regression, cluster, and other statistical concepts
  • Excellent record of sales accomplishment in ecommerce in an online/retail operations environment
  • Knowledge of digital commercial revenue streams
  • Shown success running analytical business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery with quantifiable results
  • Validated ecommerce analytics and optimization experience with track record of driving profitable growth in ecommerce with financial accountability (revenue and budget)
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an ecommerce position with an online retailer
  • Sophisticated functionality like custom JavaScript variables, tracking events and cross-domain tracking
  • Experience in customer relationship management (CRM)
