Firms in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Omaha are looking for attorneys with at least 2 years experience (more is better) in ERISA, multiple employer Taft Hartley, HIPAA, and COBRA.
Your clients could be unions, corporations big and small, governments, and private companies. You will provide advice on plan compliance issues such as plan and benefit design, fiduciary duties, and compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and other federal and state laws. You will advise clients on the content and efficient administration of plans providing health/medical, disability, accidental death, and life insurance benefits, as well as programs relating to post-retirement benefits, post-employment coverage, dependent care, and employee assistance benefits, while ensuring continued tax qualification with the IRS.
Multiple employer experience is a big plus.
Salary is DOE with a suite of benefits and relocation assistance possible.
