Job Description:

This growing company in the Manufacturing/Building Materials Industry is in search of a Maintenance Technician for day shift. I am on search for a candidate with the skills and experience for this role. This is an amazing company to work for.

Maintenance Technician


  • Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, tools and production machines and equipment.

  • Coordinates and performs periodic safety audits and safety training, including inspection of fire equipment and fire extinguishers, and audits of chemical handling to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Responsible for scheduling and performing facility-wide monthly preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, as needed.

  • Maintains records of equipment assets, maintenance schedules, and update s maintenance documentation for new and existing equipment.

  • Support Quality and Engineering in areas of process and equipment validations.

  • Keeps production equipment running on a daily basis. Performs and documents repairs, as needed.

  • Responsible for assuring the cleanliness of the work area to prevent injuries.

  • As assigned, supports product and manufacturing improvements in quality, reliability, and repeatability.

  • Ensures foam line equipment is operational, minimizing down time.

  • Maintains an inventory of components necessary to help facilitate repair and maintenance in order to reduce downtime.

Education: High School or equivalent Junior College and medical device work experience.


  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools while performing job duties.

  • Basic handyman skills

  • Works well in a fast paced, team environment.

  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.

  • Quick learner and capable of being successful in achieving goals with limited supervision; resourceful, self motivated.

  • Good interpersonal skills, experienced in conflict resolution.

  • Resourceful, experienced in troubleshooting
