Job Details for Technical Service Manager:

Job Responsibilities & Description for Technical Service Manager:

  • Anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical problems. Understands the business implications of assigned products and processes and identifies technical solutions compatible with business needs

  • Provide technical support for introduction of new products and for process improvements to existing products

  • Apply advanced scientific knowledge to projects; determine priorities for experiments. Independently designs and executes experiments. Assures experimental quality through sound, independent. experimental design. Proficient in statistics, including tracking and trending, sample size determination. equivalency evaluation

  • Liaison between cross functional groups, (i.e., Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Validation. Materials Management. Analytical Test Labs, etc.), and external plant customers or vendors

  • Lead, guide and execute through the Technical services team (scientific and administrative) in addition to providing technical and scientific expertise across the organisation

  • Apply advanced technical writing skills to produce reports, manufacturing documents, and regulatory documents; writes independently and evaluates the writing of others. Write/co-author process memos and scientific reports in support of regulatory responses

  • Lead technical support for all changes in the plant that require evaluation and provide justification of product validation

Job Requirements for Technical Service Manager:

  • Degree educated within an engineering or science or related field

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role is a must along with a strong scientific background

  • A strong leader with the ability to execute through others and drive a vision

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge and experience within a cGMP environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory issues involved with supplement or drug manufacturing
