Job Description:
This position is responsible for timely issuance and maintenance of data related to licenses and permits for the Department's regulatory programs for commercial animal feeds, fertilizers, soil and plant additives and agricultural lime. This position also assists license and permit applicants in completing the license/permit process and in complying with Department requirements. The incumbent is also responsible for development and maintenance of effective office processing procedures and maintenance of computer files, hard copy records and supplies for the program.

Job Requirements:
A minimally qualified applicant will have:

•Experience assisting customers and/or stakeholders with questions by utilizing a variety of communication methods (phone, email, fax, in person, etc.)
•Experience with processing applications (reviewing, approving, denying, etc.)
•Experience utilizing large-scale databases (CRM or similar) and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel or similar)

In addition, a well qualified applicant will have:

•Experience performing advanced licensing and/or permitting functions (processing payments, reviewing submitted materials for compliance with statutes and/or codes, etc.) within agrichemical programs such as feed, fertilizer, etc.
•Experience analyzing and/or compiling data in order to formulate reports
•Training and/or experience with financial reports and/or basic reconciliation
