*This position is temporarily eligible for Work from Home until our offices re-open in Marlborough, MA. Once our Marlborough office re-opens, this position is not eligible to be Work from Home, and you will be required to report to the office Monday-Friday.

The Manager of DTC Growth Marketing is a part of the broader transformation towards class leading growth marketing at Helen of Troy and the Health & Home North America Brands, including PUR, Honeywell, Vicks, and Braun. This role is a part of a larger group tying together a “One Consumer Experience” including Digital, DTC, CX Marketing, and Consumer Relations.

In this role, you’ll be part of a demand generation transformation that is shaping the marketing mindset for DTC. This individual has a deep passion in finding net new consumers, driving incrementality to the business, and being class leading as a growth marketer. You’ll be hands on driving performance (digital and telesales) via paid media (online / offline) vehicles focused on short and long-term performance. This role is analytically obsessed, seeking to tie analytics (deterministically / probabilistically) to inform strategy, execution, and optimization across platform, media, and creative. You’ll partner and coordinate with other channel owners across departments, including digital experience, email, marketing, and finance to drive the growth of our DTC business.

The ideal candidate has a passion for performance media, experience driving media strategy and execution for consumer brands, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a growing team.

What you'll be doing?

  • Drive demand creation for our brands with day-to-day responsibilities planning, executing, and optimizing across paid media tactics to reach monthly and yearly demand, customer acquisition (CAC) and efficiency targets (LTV) to drive net new user growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate paid social, programmatic, search, affiliate, and other growth tactics with omni-channel strategy and plans.
  • Co-create best in class performance media campaigns with agency partners and platforms that will maximize ROI as well as deliver education and innovation to the business.
  • Define best-in-class measurement by platform and media partner with clear KPIs and insights.
  • Prepare and deliver KPI performance dashboards and periodic campaign reports and insights.
  • Drive key testing initiatives and analyses to uncover meaningful insights while developing a testing best-practices plan to fuel program strategies.
  • Co-create and execute targeting tactics (e.g. audience, devices and segmentation).
  • Perform ongoing keyword research, search query mining, account expansion and implementation.
  • Manage the invoicing and payment of all partners and agencies.
  • Strong project management of timelines and deliverables with key partners and agencies.
  • Act as a tireless watchdog and owner for industry trends, best practices, and drive strategy and execution to ensure growth marketing program is class-leading.

  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing, performance marketing, and eCommerce industry trends.

What are the requirements for consideration?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of digital media experience, either at a brand or an agency.
  • Deep experience with programmatic, paid social, search, and affiliate planning and buying.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing KPIs, financial metrics and e-commerce functions.
  • Experience quantifying paid media initiatives, while providing insights that align with the overall business goals.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills including the ability to use formulas, functions, pivot tables and visualizations.
  • Strong analytical skills for making data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage internal and external partner relationships.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to driving strong results.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to see projects through from beginning to end.
