Responsibilities include:
Job Description
Maintenance crew member are responsible for maintaining commercial, industrial and/or residential properties. They will safely operate landscape equipment while adhering to ALL safety procedures in place.
Payrate for this job is $10/Hour.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment, Cares for equipment and notifies management of needed repairs
• Complete the job in a time-efficient manner meeting the company productivity targets
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, saws.
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to chainsaw, string trimmer, pruning saw, hedge trimmer, blower and edger.
• Maintain a positive, polite and friendly demeanor with guests and co-workers, team player mentality is needed.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Follow standard dress code: Long Pants, Sleeved Shirt, tucked in. Work Boots.
• Use proper PPE at all times to include but not limited to eye/ear protection, gloves, safety boots, and safety vest, PPE to be provided by Company.
• Follow smoking policy: no smoking in vehicles, while using equipment or tools, or on properties.
• Smoking only allowed on breaks and in designated smoking areas.
Qualifications
• To perform this job successfully, an individual will possess the following combination of education, experience, skills and qualities
• Ability to perform physical labor requiring continual and repetitive use of large motor skills to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, crouch, shovel, push, pull, twist, turn, stretch, reach
• Heavy lifting is often necessary, ability to lift 50 pounds with little to no assistance
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions including seasonally hot or cold temperature
