Job Description:
As one of Vancouver B.C.’s largest distributors of rocks and gemstones, Ammolite & Jade is specialized in minerals and fossils from Canada and all over the world for many years. We are proud to be the largest authorized retailer for Korite international in the Greater Vancouver area, providing the opportunity for tourists and locals to come to learn and appreciate this national treasure of Canada. As business increasing, we are now seeking to hire a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to join our growing company and be a valuable member of our group. You will be the leader in our sales team and will be responsible for promoting sales in your assigned region, supervising and organizing sales teams by designing and implementing sales strategies, recruiting and training new sales representatives and contributing to achieve high level of clients’ satisfactions.
Supervises and organizes sales teams by designing and implementing regional sales plans within Greater Vancouver area and coordinating with marketing department to achieve the sales targets;
Establishes and evaluates sales targets by forecasting the market trends and developing sales quotas for regions and projecting future performance;
Designs and implements sales strategies for new products in order to promote sales, achieve sales targets, expand client base and ensure its strong presence;
Recruits and provides support and coaching to new employees by creating reward and incentive system, providing counseling and workshops that are delivering sales knowledge;
Establishes policies and working procedures for sales representatives, assigns sales targets and tasks to individuals and monitors their daily performance, ensuring that they have all the necessary resources to perform properly;
Coordinates with marketing department, predicts customer’s needs and contributes to promote product lines;
Analyzes sales data, predicts sales trend and outcomes and presents sales, revenue and expense report on a monthly or quarterly basis;
Develops and adjusts the price by supervising the product pricing, marketing trends and monitoring supply and demand;
Fosters relationship with clients and achieves high levels of customer satisfaction in order to expand client base;
Informs director of any discrepancies or issues with sales team activities and results;
Resolves clients’ complaints and problems that arise in daily operations;
Travels on official business for marketing research and product promotion.
Job Requirements:
What You’ll Need to Acquire:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field;
Three years or more experience as Sales Manager;
Basic accounting skills;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to communicate in English, multiple language skill is preferred;
A good command of Microsoft and other software;
Ability to cooperate with colleagues and create a team-oriented environment;
