Job Location: Phoenix AZ Summary: Provide delivery service to customers and other Hydro local plants via company equipment, (pickup, flatbed, etc.) as needed. Job Responsibilities:? * Promotes an environment where doing things safety is Highest Priority. * Abides by Hydro comapany rules and policies and procedures. * Understands that performing job tasks in a safe manner is the highest priority. * Complies with Lockout/tagout procedures. * Has read and understands department JSA’s. * Reports any unsafe condition or act immediately to Supervision or HSE Manager. * Report ‘Near Miss’ paperwork on any unsafe condition or act. * Participates in daily pre-shift safety talk. * Understands company safety and environmental initiatives and acts as facilitator on the floor to promote those initiatives. * May be asked to participate in accident/incident reviews and develop corrective actions. * Responsible for housekeeping and 5S in his or her respective area of work or areas as directed by the departmental supervisor. * Responsible for his/her own health, security and safety and shall cooperate and contribute to the creation of a safe, secure and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the Company’s environmental obligations and goals. * Operate all loading equipment, a plus i.e. forklift, overhead crane, yard tractor, etc. (optional duties) * Carry out all loading procedures. * Flatbed experience, load securement. * Roll off experience, a plus. Well train if necessary. * Maintain appearance as well as report any needed repairs of company vehicle. * Maintain all daily logs as required. * Provide a class A driver’s license (CDL), also maintain a safe driver record. * Must be able to work with limited supervision. * Maintain a professional appearance and presentation. * Must be able to communicate well with others including customers. * Other duties as assigned. * Follow all safety rules. * Positive attitude a plus. Job Requirements:? * Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English. * Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to their specific area of responsibility. * Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to their specific position. * Must have excellent driving skills, and have knowledge of rules & regulations set by D.O.T. * Must be able to operate a manual transmission tractor * Minimum 1year Experience. * Ability to communicate proficiently with all personnel. * Necessary to perform job duties. Bilingual preferred not necessary. * Frequent lifting of objects up to OSHA standards. * Good math skills. Education and Work Requirements:? * High School Diploma or GED equivalent?
