Salary: $28.00 Hourly and O/T of $42.00 paid after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week
Hours: 40 Per Week
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience
Job Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland, BC
Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate
requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight
steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in other establishments
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
