UX Designer Job

The UX designer is responsible for creating innovative solutions for a wide variety of product platform design challenges including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments, and person-to-person interactions.

Duties:

• Create satisfying, compelling experiences for users of a product platform; often drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts
• Monitors user experience and ensuring that websites, software programs and product platforms are both appealing and easy for customers to use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs
• Design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with brand guidelines
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
• Familiarity with wireframing software such as Figma, Uizard, Microsoft® Visio, Adobe® InDesign or Axure.
• Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
• Familiarity with design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and InVision.
• Experience in HTML/CSS and JavaScript a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree; concentration in visual design, communications, computer science or related degree preferred.
