The UX designer is responsible for creating innovative solutions for a wide variety of product platform design challenges including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments, and person-to-person interactions.
Duties:
Create satisfying, compelling experiences for users of a product platform; often drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts
Monitors user experience and ensuring that websites, software programs and product platforms are both appealing and easy for customers to use.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs
Design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with brand guidelines
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design
Experience:
3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
Familiarity with wireframing software such as Figma, Uizard, Microsoft® Visio, Adobe® InDesign or Axure.
Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
Familiarity with design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and InVision.
Experience in HTML/CSS and JavaScript a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree; concentration in visual design, communications, computer science or related degree preferred.
