Sales Service Representative Job

Our Sales Representative is a self driven, hands-on person who builds and maintains strong relationships with our retail store partners within their assigned territory. They are passionate about developing new business relationships, merchandising, and educating others on our products. The Sales Representative works in a remote environment and is well organized, flexible with scheduling around retail partners, and proactive in resolving issues while supporting sales growth. The Sales Representative spends most of their time inside of a home improvement warehouse interacting with internal and external customers.

Although work is typically Monday to Friday some evenings and/or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain and grow relationships with store retail partners at all levels
• Report and monitor metrics to exceed expectations and support corporate objectives
• Present and train on product details and showcase benefits to increase sales through store visits, lunch and learns, events and home shows
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, and communicate relevant insights
• Collaborate effectively with team members, partners and customers
• Increase sales through knowledge, in-store merchandising, partnerships and training
• Identify issues and provide timely solutions to support customers and partners
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Self Driven, results-oriented, organized with strong time management skills, ability to work independently in a remote environment

Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel regularly
• Minimum high school diploma, degree in sales, business or marketing an asset
• Kitchen or installation experience is considered an asset
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a home improvement retail environment
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time in steel toe shoes.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office excel, word, power point
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
