Responsibilities:
• Install plumbing systems and equipment such as water heaters, sump pumps, toilets, sinks, faucets, water softeners, and drainage systems.
• Develop a plumbing system layout in a new building or during a home renovation project.
• Join pipes with couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, or cement.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Determine the location and marketing for installation of pipe connections and passage holes in the wall or floor.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, pipe corrosion, and water pressure problems.
• Drilling and cutting holes in walls and floors to adjust the passage of pipes and pipe fittings.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Planning and executing plans within time and budget limits.
