safety and quality. We are currently looking for a full-time Painter to join our
team and help us deliver excellent results on residential and commercial
projects.

Job Position: Painter
Term of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Wage: $36.60 - $37.60 per hour (Depending on working experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Available early morning, daytime,
evenings or weekends)

Work Location:
• 3295 Renfrew Street, Vancouver, British Columbia V5M 3L2 (Our Business
Location);
• Will be working at various residential / commercial locations (Client’s
locations) within Metro Vancouver area, British Columbia
Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
Position Available: 1
Benefits: 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation or 4 % Vacation Pay

Job Duties:
• Clean and prepare surfaces by removing loose paint, old wallpaper, and
other residues using scraping, sanding, steam-cleaning, sandblasting, and
hydro-blasting; repair cracks and holes, smooth surfaces with sandpaper,
and apply sealant to prepare for finishing;
• Read and interpret specifications to assess material requirements and
quantities
• Provide cost estimates to clients where needed;
• Set up scaffolding and swing stages to ensure safe and effective access to
work areas;
• Mix paints to achieve the required shade, texture, and consistency;
• Apply variety of finishes such as paint, stains, enamel, lacquer, varnish,
oil-based products, fiberglass coatings, metal treatments, and fire-retardant
materials using various tools including but not limited to brushes, rollers,
and spray equipment;
• Measure, trim and install wallpaper or fabric coverings to walls and offer
guidance on colour and design choices;
• Maintain records of materials and completed tasks and report any work
issues or delays in writing as needed.

• Completion of secondary school is usually required;
• At least 2 years of work experience in painting is required;
• Available early morning, daytime, evenings or weekends;
• A driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory;
• Great time management skills, and ability to work under pressure;
• Working knowledge of English.
