Materials Estimator Job

Material Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed material take-offs for single-family and multifamily construction projects. Reporting directly to the Director of Building Materials, this position plays a pivotal role in leading the estimation team and ensuring the accuracy of project budgets.

What We looking for/Qualification
At least 3-5 Years of experience in estimating within the lumber and building materials sector.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Excellent mathematical and visualization abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an eagerness to learn new software tools.
Solid understanding of wood construction methods and familiarity with IRC and IBC codes.
Experience with estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift) is a plus.
