EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full-time – Permanent

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
• Provide guidance with safe hygiene practices.
• Monitor children throughout the day and ensure safety at all times.
• Take children to and from school.
• Discipline children according to methods approved by parents.
• Create and follow schedules for playtime, naps and meals.
• Organize and take part in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

WORKING HOURS:
• 6-8 hours per day or 30-40 hours per week
• Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 2 varied days off per week

WAGE: $18.00/hour

WORK SETTING & LOCATION:
* In a private home located in Adsum Drive, Winnipeg, MB
* Recipient of care is a 14-year-old and a 5-year-old (both child diagnosed with autism)

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
• Completion of secondary school education
• No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
• First Aid and CPR Training Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
