Family Childcare Provider Job

Job Duties:
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework
Schedule:
• 30 hours per week, permanent, full-time
• Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed

Requirements:
• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma (3 months to less than 1 year)
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
• License/Certification: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Early Childhood Education/Assistant (ECE/ECA) Certificate
• Transportation: Valid Driver’s license
• Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam
