ED Tech Solutions Inc. is currently looking for a full time, permanent Electrical Engineering Technician to join their team as soon as possible.

Main Duties: • Execute burn-in procedures on electronic assemblies, documenting performance metrics and conducting detailed analysis of thermal and operational anomalies. • Support prototype fabrication and validation activities in alignment with engineering drawings, circuit schematics, and design specifications. • Conduct limited-scope technical operations to aid in applied research across electrical, electronics, and physics domains, including instrumentation setup and data acquisition. • Participate in the incoming quality control (IQC) of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components, performing conformity assessments against engineering tolerances and functional criteria. • Perform calibration of electronic test equipment and measurement instruments as per OEM manuals and ISO/IEC 17025 calibration procedures. • Assist in the circuit design, simulation, testing, and integration of analog, digital, or mixed-signal electronic systems and subassemblies. • Install, commission, operate, and maintain low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems, including power supplies, control circuits, and electronic instrumentation. • Contribute to the generation of engineering documentation such as cost estimates, Gantt charts, design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and technical reports. • Support the R&D process by performing bench-level testing and characterization of electronic components, devices, and systems for performance verification and reliability analysis. • Execute detailed inspection and functional verification of electronic, electro-mechanical, and electrical assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC standards and product data sheets. • Assist in the fabrication and performance evaluation of proof-of-concept prototypes in accordance with design briefs and technical documentation. • Tune and calibrate electrical and electronic test apparatus and tooling based on schematics, service manuals, and standard operating procedures. • Collect, organize, and analyze engineering test data to support the preparation of design forecasts, development schedules, cost analysis, system specifications, and technical documentation.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School is required. • A college diploma and/or certificate in related field will be an asset. • Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
