Permanent Position: Early Childhood Assistant (NOC #42202)

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.
Location: 45768 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P 1B4
Wage Rate: $34.65 Hourly, for 35-40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, day, morning, overtime if required.
Education: Licensed as Early childhood Assistant required.
Experience: Experience is an asset.
Languages: English.
Job Duties:
• Assist early childhood educators in developing various programs for overall child development.
• Interact with children with various activities including art, storytelling, and music.
• Assist the children in proper hygiene practices such as eating and dressing.
• Observe the children and prepare reports for early childhood supervisors.
• Arrange meals for children, maintain and order daycare equipment as required.
• Discuss child progress with parents and senior educators.
• Help and maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment for the children to learn and play in.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by the ECE and seniors.

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory.
