Concerete Product Finisher Job

Pacific Art Stone Inc. is looking for one (1) full-time, permanent Concrete Product Finisher (NOC:73100) for our business based in Surrey, BC.
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Number of Vacancies: 01
• Experience Required: one to three years in the same field
• Compensation & Benefits: $36.65/hr for 30-40 hours per week + 4% vacation pay on each scheduled paycheck.
Job Responsibilities:
• Inspect, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces of precast or poured concrete products.
• Use hand and power tools to grind, polish, and shape concrete to meet design specifications.
• Apply surface treatments, including sealants, stains, and waterproofing agents, to enhance durability.
• Repair imperfections, such as air bubbles or cracks, by filling, patching, or resurfacing concrete.
• Use molds and templates to ensure uniformity in concrete products.
• Operate vibrating and finishing equipment to remove excess water and air pockets.
• Install reinforcements, such as steel bars or mesh, as needed for structural support.
• Maintain work areas and tools, ensuring proper cleaning and storage.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality control standards in concrete finishing processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.

Job Requirements:
• Experience in concrete finishing or a related trade is preferred.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle heavy materials.
• Knowledge of construction safety procedures and best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications is an asset.
