Assistant Manager of Quality Control Team Job

Manage development plans and quality verification for new car boy parts; confirm Request For Quotation (RFQ) proposals after reviewing formability and structure; establish development plans and schedules in accordance with client’s time requirements; establish initial formality T/O and develop improvement plans; review reports and observations drafted by subordinate employees to identify formality problems for initial development stage and recommend improvement lay-out for client’s review; review reports of subordinate employees to determine jig and welding machine conditions and resolve any matters for applying them to the molds; conduct audits for event stage and confirm stability for mass production; review and confirm mold production feasibility; lead team to monitor molding process to ensure size, depth and system settings; review molds; durability to ensure compatibility for mass production; conduct on-site inspection for mold production progress; develop production cost reduction improvement plans to minimize production cost; direct the application of statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to identify the cause of quality problems; identify critical points for product quality issues by reviewing reliability test results, repair process, and incoming quality status supplied by subordinate employees; attend meetings with other department managers to discuss production problems and countermeasures to resolve critical production problems; establish maintenance training manuals, standards and guidance for local engineers and technicians; and make recommendations on personnel decisions for subordinate employees such as providing interviews on a regular basis, recommend training opportunities for career development, determine team workforce needs, and provide insight into performance of subordinates to determine bonuses or reprimands.

Requirements:
Bachelor or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing production engineering and quality control function with a manufacturer of automobile parts. Qualifying experience must include direct management responsibility for production engineering and quality controls operations.
