I enjoy instructing and I love learning new things. I will not get complacent and my attention to detail is unmatched. I am very respectful and will go out of my way to help someone. My experience: 7 total years in the military( 5 Active U.S. Navy, 2 Drilling Navy Reservist). In the Navy I worked in Aviation, as an Aviation Ordnance. We dealt with the loading, downloading, assembling, disassembling, maintenance, inspections, auditing, accounting, ordering, expenditures, and scheduling of bombs, missiles, and guns associated with the F/A-18 Super Hornet Aircraft. It took me just under 3 years to reach E-5, Petty Officer Second Class, a supervising rank that some people retire as. My hard-work and devotion led to EP (Early Promote) evaluations, and those evaluations with my test scores allowed me to rank up each time I had a chance. I worked as an ordnance shop supervisor for the rest of my enlistment. When I deployed in late 2011, our supervising officer wanted to start a new shop that ran the system checks on all weapon systems on the aircraft. This was normally a job that was done by a mixture of our shop and two others. Each jet had to be done each night. I was appointed the Lead Supervisor for this new shop, and I was appointed 2 airman, one from each of the two shops that did the checks. We went through the deployment flying and dropping ordnance in Iraq and Afghanistan. We had zero discrepancies in our work the entire deployment and had zero unfired ordnance when dropped on the enemy. I received Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Letter of Commendation, Blue Jacket of the Month and Quarter, Sharpshooter, and Shellback awards and qualifications while enlisted. Once out of active duty I continued to do Drilling Reserves for 2 years which I went on one Detachment. As soon as I got out of the Navy as a Honorable separation, I immediately started going to Brazosport College for my Associates of Applied Science in Process Technology. My first job out of the military was a Fire Alarm and Gas Detection Technician with Webb Murray. I worked on the Gas Detection side calibrating and repairing portable and fixed LEL meters of different companies. I was then offered a job as a Distribution Operator with The Dow Chemical Company. I worked there for a year and a half loading, 5 gallon pails, drums, 18-wheeler tank trucks, and railcars with hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. In the summer of 2015 I had graduated from Brazosport College with my AAS and was offered a job with The Dow Chemical Company as a Process Operator. I worked in a Light Hydrocarbon plant on the furnace side. I made thorough rounds, prepared equipment for maintenance, performed clearing and maintenance, took and analyzed chemical and treated water samples while generating reports, wrote Safe Work Permits to contractors and co-workers to ensure they knew the hazards and safety rules pertaining to their job and area. We wrote Line and Equipment Openings, Confined Space, Elevated Work, Red Tag Master Lock Out/Tag Out and all associated documents, Pressure Washing/Hydroblasting. Adhered to policies and safety rules, staying up-to-date with online trainings and classroom trainings. Stayed medically fit and respirator fit. Qualified as Immediate Response Leader, Shift Activity Coordinator, EH&S Team Member, 5S/LEAN Project Coordinator.

Received my Diploma from Deweyville High School in 2004. Numerous trainings in the U.S. Navy: Basic Corrosion, Quality Control, Firefighting(multiple levels), Sharpshooter, Anti-Terrorism, Sexual Advocate Counselor, Training Leader, Supervising...much, much more. Received Train the Trainer, Interview Training, and Immediate Response Training while employed with The Dow Chemical Company. Received my Associates of Applied Science in Process Technology from Brazosport College in May of 2015. I am currently taking classes at Brazosport College for my Bachelor of Applied Technology in Process Management.
