Objective:
FLIR Specialist (Thermographer)

Working for United Safety Ltd,
Continental Laboratories, Diagnostic
Engineering, SNC-Lavalin and Target
Emission Services for more than 12
years has allowed me to build a very
strong understanding of the oil and
gas industry. During this time, I had
the opportunity to work several times
in the sour gas plants across Alberta
and British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

My current responsibilities include:
• Scanning all components with
GasFinderIR Infrared Camera to
identify the location of VOC
(Volatile, Organic, Compound) leaks,
place number Leak Tag on each
“detected” leak, component or
connection
• Take a documentary still photo
of the leaking component
• Take video footage of each
leak for easy identification
• Scanning each previously
detected leak with Hi-Flow Sampler to
quantify leak rate in liters/minute
• Identifying the screening
concentration and flag in the report,
all locations where the leak is
10,000ppm and over

I have strong problem solving skills,
I am able to handle multiple projects
with various deadlines, and I am
capable of prioritizing my work based
on requirements.
I posses the following certificates
required to work in oil and gas field:
H2S Alive, WHMIS, Petroleum Safety
Training (PST) Program, Standard First
Aid – Level C CPR, TDG.
