the day-to-day, first level support of mission
critical networking technologies located within a
complex heterogeneous network infrastructure.
General technical responsibilities included the
monitoring, troubleshooting, and general support
of various mission-critical technologies, hardware
break fixes, software resolutions, technical training
of end-users as required, as well as add
moves/changes.
Performed loopback testing and network
analysis when and where required. Installed and
configured new devices during factory expansion
and during hardware failures when required.
Escalated any issues that were beyond level 1
scope and supported next level engineer with any
hardware/software repairs, replacements or new
installs
Additional responsibilities and activities
included 2nd level support for general systems
administration, as needed technical
support/training of new technical professionals.
