the Raymond von Dran IDEA Awards and
L.C. Smith Invention and Creativity
Competition.

Hemodialysis Cartridge (Fall 2011) -
Utilized AutoCad Inventor to design
hemodialysis cartridge and built it
using 3D printer that dialyzed a
synthetic blood mixture

Photopleth Sensor (Fall 2011) - Built a
photopleth heart rate monitor by
designing an sensor, constructing a
circuit that connected to DAQ and
LabView

Wheelchair-Assisted Tool (Fall 2008) -
Constructed a tool helping a handicapped
person to read and eat conveniently
while sitting on a wheelchair
