Conducts phone and online technical support to customers throughout the country with Magnetic Resonance Imaging issues. Completes written evaluations about components in a system, to inform supervisors about viability and cost effectiveness of repair or replacement. Repairs and tests the 20KW RF Amplifier, Gradient Amplifier, System Support Module, and Power Supplies. Use of Network analyzer, Signal Generator, and Power meter to trouble shooting the amplifiers, measuring the gain & loss, calibrating transmission lines, Pre-Amp, measuring signal to noise ratio of the body coils, and head coils. • Trouble shoots and repairs Erbtec and Analogic amplifiers. Calibrates Head and body output using dummy load, power meter, and Oscilloscope to adjust correct gain for maximum power out
• Repairs Gradient Amplifier such as MINI GRAM for MR 9x platform, also the Advanced Concept Gradient Driver for the Exciter 11x platform. Repairs Switching Gradient Amplifier power supplies, MINI GRAM power supplies, System Support Module, calibrates Communication Pin Driver board, and Gradient calibration.
• Repairs all types of coils: replacing pin diode, pre-amp, adjust the center frequency and repairs of the coil antenna system.
