to perform duties specific to my education as an acupuncturist

whether as a private entity - for you the reader - my fee is 81$ a session

i am also looking to be hired as a corporation's personal employee

we have a unique opportunity to begin something great.

i am posting my resume for exposure and to see who can see me out there from here - i welcome all enquiries -as we start this journey together into the now, where all healing and balance into health takes place.

Experience:
as a recent graduate, all of my clinical experience has been supervised by a professional acupuncturist with many years experience as consult.

i have since graduating been on a solo adventure and i am ready to settle into a practice that is established or needs help in growing.

i currently rent space to treat on the uppereast side but i am also looking to work with other professionals with similiar interests in community health care.

of note, i have done several externships off site from the campus and its population of walk in clientele in the flatiron district specific to chronic pain and addictions with good results. which is to say - real results - measuarable outcomes - and also to say that i had to seek out these alternatives in order to be exposed and get experience with more extreme cases of injury, neurological disfunction, lupus, autoimmune deficiencies, spinal fusion of vertebral column, hip replacements, infertility, diabetes, and a handful more of practical real life issues ... this experience has given me lessons in that no matter how long one has been treating patients, when two people come together with the purpose of healing - it happens.

montefiore hospital in conjunction with pacific college of oriental medicine just finished up a two year research project into acupuncture and its effectiveness in dealing with pain and its reduction. the results of this study should be out end of 2012.

as a practitioner with a personal qigong and meditative practice specific to a lineage of emei shan, one of the sacred mountains in china, i have traveled to guatemala, peru, beijing and most recently the dominican republic, followed by cherokee reservation in north carolina to give treatment and receive teachings.

i am ready to put into action all of what my education and traveling have afforded me - an open mind - this allows me to refine thoughts of how and what into a traditional chinese medicine (TCM) focus of pattern differential diagnosis with five element sensabilities, and often more simply, i am able to address symptom pathology that present in each individual treatment.

these tiny needles move out the aches and pains of duality, over work and lack of sleep bringing the body into a parasympathetic healing state. good stuff.

my most recent seminar is in neurofunctional electrical acupuncture specific for pain management taught by dan wunderlich on april 28-29 2012 an established acupuncturist in nyc..
