My experience in the field of journalism writing and editing stories of diverse and complex issues and crafting them into pieces of information consumers can read and understand make me a perfect fit for any company wanting to present clean and concise copy to clients and potential customers.

I am proficient with a number of programs on both PC and Mac; can work alone or with a team; and pride myself with having the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. My background is in the newspaper industry formerly as editor of the Olathe Daily News and most recently serving as News Editor for Sun Publications until it recently ceased publication. I also served as a consultant for the Olathe School District in helping to create business partnerships. In my career, I have learned the importance of gathering facts, data and talking to people and then breaking down the information so it can be understood and communicated to others. I have been successful in accomplishing goals, organizing and following through on strategies and meeting deadlines. Iím at ease talking to people and in communicating what is needed as well as what is expected to those who have been delegated various responsibilities.
