My background is in the newspaper industry formerly as editor of the Olathe Daily News and most recently serving as News Editor for Sun Publications until it recently ceased publication. I also served as a consultant for the Olathe School District in helping to create business partnerships. In my career, I have learned the importance of gathering facts, data and talking to people and then breaking down the information so it can be understood and communicated to others. I have been successful in accomplishing goals, organizing and following through on strategies and meeting deadlines.
