Objective:
I would like to continue to use my experience of over 20 years in sales to help grow my territory, to aggressively seek new business, while not forgetting the base of business that helps me acheive other sales goals. I seek the team building that goes along with management, as well as the camraderie that exists in a group of other salespeople. I enjoy the hunt for new challenges.

Experience:
I have over 25 years experience in outside sales, all but two in the foodservice industry. Further, and think that this is important in any sales situation, I have learned a number of very important things. To be successful in sales, one must be persistent, have a positive attitude and have the ability never to take rejection personally. I believe that I've honed these skills, and have learned many others along the way. I am extremely loyal. I remained with a small business for 21 years, even when many offers were presented to me. When the doors closed, I was able to obtain more specific training with US Foodservice in order to continue my career in my chosen field. Based on sales acheivements, I was awarded Rising Star of the Month 5 times, then Rising Star of the Year in 2006. As the economic downturn begun, I was downsized. I am very goal oriented, and have the will to succeed.

Education:
My Bachelor's degree in Business Administration was awarded to me from the University of Denver. My major was, at that time, named Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Affiliations:
I do not have any professional affiliations at this time; at one time, I was a member of the Texas Chef's Association, but am no longer.

Skills:

Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint graphics programs Quickbooks and other accounting software
Also, the ability to feel at home with all types of people, in any situation. I have little use for predjudice. I have a good sense of humor, I have integrity. I am great in the kitchen!
