How many of your applicants have built an elevator shaft down in a high rise office tower?
Dennis L. Carpenter
1045 Palm Landing Drive, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233,
Phone: (904) 476-7186, Email: email@example.com
I would like an opportunity to interview for a Traveling Construction Superintendent position. I am the kind of well seasoned Traveling Construction Superintendent you are looking for.
For the past several years my work has focused on running projects throughout the southeast primarily focused in the fast food industry.
I also have extensive experience with retail spaces such as GAP, Sports Authority, Beall's and Dillard’s as well as large scale tenant build-outs of luxury law offices and executive suites. I have also build retail convenience/gas/car wash combination stores.
To demonstrate my diversity, I once had to build an elevator shaft down a floor in the upper floors of an office tower through a post-tension slab floor to extend the reach of an existing elevator an extra floor.
I also successfully completed building a 3000 square foot “On The Border” restaurant on Concourse “T” of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta GA. The challenges on this project were significant following the events of September 11th. I had to overcome issues such as getting materials to the jobsite through the elevated security requirements of a high profile international airport, arranging and maintaining security badge clearance for all sub-contractors, a restricted work area on an occupied public concourse, restricted work hours to avoid disturbing the traveling public, not to mention a tight construction schedule
I am completely comfortable arriving in a new and unfamiliar location and quickly establishing the necessary local resources to successfully bring the assign project to completion on time and budget.
