Experience: Experience: Assistant Construction Superintendent Hayward Baker, LosAngeles, 2005-2009 Assisted Metro construction inspectors and engineers as well as, LA county and city inspectors, in getting thousands of holes drilled so we could mix cement or grout with the soil to create a stronger foundation to prevent any cave ins or sink holes while excavating or tunneling on such projects as the Metro Aqua Line and many other public work services. I supervised a crew of 10 or more laborers, operated drilling machines, performed a wide range of maintenance on air, hydraulic, and power tools and equipment. Plan and schedule different phases of various jobs to get several tasks accomplished. Estimated cost for materials, equipment, and labor force while submitting daily reports.
Construction Superintendent/Miner Traylor Brothers, LosAngeles, 2000-2005 Assisted company Project Managers and engineers in all phases of tunnel projects like the Nesis Sewer Project. Worked with Osha and LA county and city inspectors to comply with all safety laws and codes. I also assisted in assembling Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) for the purpose of mining tunnels. I worked in the head of the TBM maintaining the machine doing all aspects as it pertains to building tunnels. Supervised a crew of 12 or more laborers, planning and scheduling different phases of each project successfully accomplishing numerous tasks. Estimated cost for materials, equipment, and labor force needed. Kept record of hours worked and submitted daily reports.
Construction Foreman/Miner Kenny Construction Assisted in assembling Tunnel Boring Machines(TBM) and worked with project engineers making decisions on everyday course of action as it pertains to constructing tunnels.Worked in the mechanic shop maintaining heavy equipment, air, hydraulic, and power tools. Performed light welding and fabricating with welding torch. At the final phases of this project I worked directly under project manager keeping inventory of materials and equipment.
